A freight broker is an individual or
company that does not own or operate any transportation equipment. These individuals or companies coordinate transportation services for shippers or receivers. Freight brokers typically have significant expertise in the transportation industry and are able to save their customers money by allowing them to reduce or eliminate their transportation departments.

Freight brokers are also referred to as 3PL’s (third party logistics providers)
Yes, it is very important for the customer to deal with a reputable, bonded and insured freight forwarder. Always ask a forwarder to provide evidence that they carry a property brokers bond.
Yes, we will provide evidence that our bond and insurance are in good standing when a customer requests us to do so.
No, however we can provide names and contacts of various customs brokers depending on the port at the border crossing. We will guide you through the process required to make a cross-border shipment.
Newco was founded in 1990 and has been in business under current ownership since 2002.
Newco Logistics and J.B.M. Logistics are separate entities under common ownership (sister companies). This is important for customers to understand as the ownership group has significant investment in both companies which indicates we are in this industry for the long term.
Credit terms will be net 30 for customers that have an approved credit application on file. If you need product moved before an application can be submitted, terms will be adjusted to COD.
